It's our pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you, visitors of our "Coch - BVI" portal. Our website is going to be redesigned and launched in summer 2026 with a new, modern, responsive design. Coch in the BVI presents a detailed look on British Virgin Islands. Just about a 50 minutes flight from San Juan, the superb islands and cays that comprise the British Virgin Islands had a major quality, the virgin beauty. Hurricane IRMA a category 5 hurricane, passed through the British Virgin Islands during the daylight hours of Wednesday, 6th September 2017. It caused widespread destruction. The eye of the hurricane travelled over the three major islands in the group: Virgin Gorda, Tortola and Jost van Dyke. The hurricane caused extensive damage to property and infrastructure in the Territory, and caused statistically significant levels of depopulation.Lay back and enjoy the island time.
We hope to whisk you away on a journey through our world, full of vibrant colors and breath-taking images. The website with a fresh and responsive design, now comes with new pages. The web site is partitioned by "Years" and each divided into four topics, "Sweet Home" , "Traveling" , "Gardening" and "Sewing”. The easiest way to get started is to click on one of the five topics above. We wish you a pleasant journey.Notice: Between 2004 and 2016, we visited the British Virgin Islands 10 times.Only a few days before our 11th trip, the category 5 hurricane "Irma" made its ugly appearance. Our beloved BVI where completely destroyed on Wednesday 6th September 2017. Therefore, we escaped in 2017 to the Caribbean Windward Island Saint Lucia. You will find pictures on our Coch.ch page.
